ESRI ArcGIS Integration

The ESRI ArcGIS integration allows you to add an interactive map to a form. This can be used to display ESRI maps to users and allow users to draw on the map as part of their submission.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Steps to Configure

Step 1: Navigate to the Forms list and open the form you want to update, or create a new form.

Step 2: Select the ESRI ArcGIS Web Map element.

Step 4: Configure the ESRI ArcGIS Web Map element options.

The available options include:

  • Web Map ID: Enter the public web map identification number for the map you want to display.
  • Base Map ID: Select the default map type to use in the form.
  • Drawing Tools: Allow users to draw on the map using Point, Polyline, Polygon, Rectangle, and Circle tools.
  • Graphic Attribute Options: Configure multiple types for the same drawing tool.
  • Show Layer Panel By Default: Open the Layers panel by default when the form loads.
  • Show Address Search Widget: Display the Address Search widget in the ESRI element.
  • Show Home Widget: Display the Home widget in the ESRI element.
  • Show Measurement Dimensions: Display the distance between points when using Polyline and Polygon drawing types.
  • Show Capture Image Button: Display a button that allows the user to capture a screenshot of the current map state.

Web Map ID

Adding a Web Map ID is optional when configuring an ESRI map integration. However, using a public Web Map ID is recommended so the form can load the map area that is most relevant to the form.

The Web Map ID can often be found in the URL of the map you are viewing.

If you are creating the map yourself, you can also access the Web Map ID from the ESRI map management screen.

Make sure the map is set to public before using it in your form.
