Auditing

Modified on Wed, 27 Nov at 11:43 AM

The Auditing menu allows administrators to view and search logs for all actions within the platform such as form updates, integration changes or submission views.

Searching

There are 6 different search parameters you can use to filter the audit log stream.

  1. Date and Time

This will allow you to enter a created after and created before date and time to filter your logs By default, the created after is set to 12:00 am yesterday.

  2. Record Type

These are broken up to cover the different areas of the platform, allowing you to target your search. For example, if you are looking for who updated the Payment integration you would use the "Integration" record type.

  3. Operation

The operations again assist in filtering the logs to find the specific record you are searching e.g. View, Create, Update, Delete, or Search.

  4. Usernames

Filters based on searching who created the log, using the team member or app user's email address.

  5. Access Keys

Filter based on actions associated with a specific Access Key.

  6. IP Addresses

Filter for the IP address used to create the log.

Records

The records are broken down into 6 columns.

  1. Date/Time

The date and time the audit log was generated in local time.

  2. User

Who the user was that triggered the action that created the log, or the key if the action was completed by a machine using a key.

The user's IP Address. This can be useful when needing to distinguish between legitimate user usage and illegitimate usage.

  4. Operation

The operation the user was performing.

  5. Type

The record type, or the area of the platform the user was affecting.

  6. Record Label

The label of the record that was being affected for example, if a form is updated will be the form name.
