The Point integration allows you to add a simple address validation element quickly and easily to your forms.
Configure the integration once and use it across any form.
Set Up Integration
Step 1: Navigate to the integrations menu and click SETUP INTEGRATION on the NEW Point card
Step 2: Integration configuration
You now have the ability to configure different API keys for different environments. Below, you will find an example of both configuring a single and configuring API Keys across multiple environments.
- Single Configuration
As this is the default integration no label is required, you simply need to supply your API key and click the save button
- Multiple Configurations
Begin by click the “Add Environment” button
Then enter both the label for this environment and the API key you wish to use for this newly created environment. Followed by clicking on the “Save” button.
You can configure multiple environments, each with its own unique API key, by repeating the above steps.
Step 3: Configuring the NSW Point integration on a specific form.
You are also able to configure the NSW Point address to be configured at the form level. You will find the new configuration settings on the form summary screen.
Depending on the number of environments configured, you will be able to configure the following:
- No Integration: The configuration will be hidden on the form summary screen.
- One Environment: A single switch will be displayed that enables to enable and disable the integration on the specified form.
- Multiple environments: A drop will be displayed, where you will be able to select which environment API to use for the specified form.
Step 4: Add a Point element to a form
The Point element allows for further configurations which allow you to specify:
Limit to specific states & territories - Allowing you to restrict results to specific Australian States and Territories.
Limit to physical or mailing addresses - Allowing you to restrict results to either physical or mailing addresses, default to both
Conditional Logic
You are able to configure conditional logic on the value of a NSW Point address. These conditional logic statements allow you to only show elements when the NSW Point address is empty or not empty, when the address is either a mailing address or a PO box address or alternatively if the address is in a specific state.
